Privacy Policy

Summary

Mivon Limited ("Mivon", "we") operates mivon.io. We collect the minimum personal data needed to deliver the products you buy, support you, and run our business. We don't sell personal data and we don't run third-party advertising trackers.

Data we collect

  • Account data — email address, name, and (optionally) GitHub username, used to provision access to purchased products.
  • Order data — products purchased, license type, and invoice details. Payment card data is handled exclusively by our payment processor, Stripe, and never touches our servers.
  • Support data — emails you send us and any attachments. We keep these for as long as needed to resolve your request and for our records.
  • Usage data — anonymous page views and aggregated analytics. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

How we use it

  • To deliver purchased products and license keys.
  • To respond to support requests.
  • To send transactional emails (receipts, license updates).
  • To send occasional product update emails (you can opt out at any time).
  • To improve the Service through aggregated analytics.
  • To comply with tax, accounting, and legal obligations.

We process data to (a) perform the contract you enter into when purchasing a product, (b) comply with legal obligations such as tax and accounting law, (c) act on our legitimate interest in operating and improving the Service, and (d) where required, on the basis of your consent (e.g. marketing emails).

Sharing

We share data with processors strictly to operate the Service: Stripe (payments — Ireland & US), Resend (transactional email — US), Lovable Cloud / Supabase (database and storage — EU), and our hosting provider Cloudflare (global edge). All processors are bound by data processing agreements. We do not sell personal data.

International transfers

Mivon is based in Hong Kong SAR. Personal data may be processed in the EU, UK, and US by our processors. Where required, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Email hello@mivon.io and we'll respond within 30 days.

Retention

We retain account and order data for as long as your account is active and as required by applicable tax law (typically seven years).

Security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest, scoped access controls, and audited third-party processors. No system is perfectly secure; if you suspect an incident, email hello@mivon.io.

Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to account holders before they take effect.
