The pitch

Why we built Midwest.

Built for veterinary chains and acquired-practice groups. Location finder with map, per-location booking, specialist directory, careers portal, and a content system that lets head office push announcements to all sites without redeploying.

We use everything we ship — and we ship for independent owner-operators who don't have a procurement department to tolerate bad software.

Most products in this space feel like they were built once, then never used by the people who have to live inside them. Midwest is opinionated where opinions help and quiet everywhere else. The defaults read as professional, the copy is real, and the small details — empty states, error copy, the spacing between two buttons — are finished.

The details

Every feature, honestly described.

No marketing fluff, no inflated bullet counts. Here's what each piece actually does — and what it deliberately doesn't.

  1. 01

Per-location pages with map, hours, services

Designed end-to-end so it ships the day you fork it. No half-built screens, no placeholder copy you'll have to rewrite.

    Included as standard
  2. 02

Centralized content system (MDX + Cloud)

Built for real operating conditions — slow Wi-Fi at the reception desk, gloves on at the exam table, one hand on a leash.

    Included as standard
  3. 03

    Careers portal with applicant tracking

Quietly opinionated about the small details that make a brand feel like a brand: spacing, type scale, the second click.

    Included as standard
Who it's for

If any of these is you, you'll feel at home.

Studios shipping for pet brands

You bill the design work — we'll hand you a clean base your engineer can extend in an afternoon.

Franchise & multi-location

Re-skin per location, share the engine. License covers up to three brand variants out of the box.

Tech stack

Built on tools that won't surprise you in six months.

  • Next.js 15
App router, RSC where it earns its keep, server actions for forms.
  • Tailwind v4
Modern theme tokens via CSS, no config file to babysit.
  • MDX
    Long-form content with embedded components.
  • Lovable Cloud
Modern, well-supported, and chosen because it ages well.

Questions

Frequently — and honestly — asked.

How is this delivered?
Within minutes you receive a private GitHub invite to the source repo and a separate link to the Figma source. Clone, install, and you're running locally in under five minutes.
Do I need to know how to code?
You'll need a developer for the deploy step. Everything else (copy, images, palette) is editable through clearly labeled config files or directly in Figma.
Can I use this for multiple businesses or clients?
Yes. This license covers unlimited end-client deployments. The only thing you can't do is re-sell the source itself.
What if I need changes or customization?
The code is fully yours to modify. We also offer a paid customization slot every month for buyers who want the studio to make the change — usually $400–$1,200 depending on scope.
Refund policy?
Fourteen days, no questions, as long as you haven't already deployed it commercially. Hit reply on the receipt email and we refund within one working day.

$249, and you're done shopping for this.

Fourteen-day refund, free updates for a year, and a real person on the other end of the receipt email. No upsells, no trial-then-card, no add-ons hidden in a modal.
